Conditioning is Better

Hi all,

This week I'd like you to blog about a time when you had been conditioned to do something. Use either form, operant or classical, but be sure that you get your example correct. I would appreciate it if you put the example in proper form (3 step for classical, types and schedules of reinforcement for operant). For example:

I like cooking/eating food. I have found over time that the fresher the ingredients, the better the food tastes. An example of operant conditioning from this might be the fact that just about every Wednesday AND Saturday during the summers I go to the farmer's markets here in Green Bay. There I can do some of my basic grocery shopping for fresh fruits, veggies, and other specialty foods for a relatively cheap price while getting the very freshest of foods to cook with.

My behavior is going to the farmer's markets, my rewards are fresh foods/good foods. This would be a positive reinforcement model, and the schedule of reinforcement is a fixed interval schedule because it is every Wednesday and Saturday...and ONLY during the summers, therefore fixed and interval.

Happy writing!
